AN ANECDOTE
My ex-husband told my daughter her privileged information about the occurrences in the delivery room. Not knowing the consequences….the logic behind same. My daughter was a curious adult at that time and wanted more information. As she thought….yeah what is he leaving out of this dramatic experience.
During my pregnancy, my daughter kicked very hard. I asked my EX to touch my stomach and she kicked his hand hard. The look on his face was beyond belief. In any event, I was speechless because the medications wore off and I couldn’t relate the information to my team. I was just numb. I had a C-section birth and after they cut me open my baby was not visible. I just noticed that everyone looked bewildered and the delivery room was so quiet. The doctor said where is the baby. I felt a lot of movement of my organs and the doctor said how did you get all the way over there? Then my EX said it’s a girl and she looks like a white person baby! Luckily for him, I was still in shock and speechless as I thought NEGRO, please!
The doctor asked if I wanted to see the baby. I was frowning and shaking my head NO. But I was in pain and I could not speak. This nurse tried to walk away with my baby and I began to hit the bed. The doctor said come back…..where are you going with her baby? Well, I turned my head all the way around, (exorcise style), to see this “white baby”! She was a beautiful light complexion baby girl that made a facial frown with her lips. Her eyes were closed, she was so clean, (no blood), and then she kicked her feet. Probably saying, “WHERE THE HELL AM I!”
She later told her story that because of my EX OPIOIDS abuse and my nicotine, (from smoking cigarettes), she had to crawl all the way into my intestines to stay safe and protected. She is funny. But, studies show that the male drug abuser has an effect on his sperm. Luckily for him, (this person of deception), not within my baby. Once again she found out what he was really leaving out of this story….DIVORCE COURT!
Studies also show that most drug abuse can affect fetal brain development as it is fed through crossing the placenta, including but not limited to ecstasy, heroin, morphine, nicotine, alcohol, and amphetamines.
