It have been said that history begins where justice ends. From an anthropological perspective historians use psychological primary sources in an attempt to debunk and unveil hate crimes. How can we place a “price tag” on human life? To an anti-Semite crimes against humanity becomes habitually pilfering. Their ideology of hegemony negates morality in all forms. How does this present a problem for you as a human being? What ethical dilemma’s are being presented here? We must not live by “an eye for an eye”. The actions of the Israelis against the Palestinian that was murdered is disparaging. Is man the thrall of circumstances? Ethics are not laws or rituals. Ethics are a code of morality; a system of moral principles governing the appropriate conduct for individuals or a group. In Judaism we try to live by a moral code of ethics. We listen to the “song bird” that tells us what we should do regardless of our self-interest. The message inside our heart that says, “you know what you should do”. We must emancipate our anger. No matter what we must strive to do the right thing! Recently in the news Holly Grigsby, 27, was sentenced to life in prison with no chance for release. As she willing staged a pogrom, (in a Northwest killing rampage), she coined her actions as necessary but apologized for defaming the reputation of a movement that is misunderstood.

We must abide by the laws that are enforceable. Reporting crimes of hate today stops pogroms tomorrow. My prayers are with the family of the Palestinian that was murdered as well as the family of Holly Grigsby. I am so sorry that their lives were taken from you.
I thank God for our doctors and the gift of medicinal healing, but for me nothing does it better than prayer. Spread some good cheer….today perform an act of kindness.

Theresa, you are so right that we should mourn the death of every person killed in violence, including the Palestinian boy who was brutally burned to death. As you said, no one’s blood is redder than anyone else’s blood. Your quotations from Rabbinic sources emphasize this point and demonstrate that Judaism does have a concern for humanity as a whole and is not just focused on the Jews alone.

You make a very good point. We, (Jews), are concerned for humanity as a whole. We are collectively fused together while we are here on this earth. God’s plan is that we learn to accept each other differences and love one another. It present an ethical dilemma for Jews just to love or help other Jews. God knew we would make mistakes, but he will not take away our free will. I trust that our leaders in Israel will handle injustice correspondingly. We must protect ourselves and I’m prayerful that our leaders, our brothers, sisters the IDF will ethically do the right thing. Let us all pray for a better tomorrow.
